I have always had a passion for paint and plaster. Although not one to paint this and that chotchke, back in the early 90′s, I gradually began to decorate my home with various faux techniques. As soon as I took my first professional classes, a whole new world opened up to me. Since then, you name the class and I have taken it! Tools and brushes are what I shop for, no matter what country I am in. I’ll pass on the jewelry and clothing stores. Give me a few art and antique stores and I am a happy camper!
My special passions are reserved for grottesca (grotesques) and gold leaf, otherwise known as gilding. And lime plasters offer the true beauty reserved for stone.
I invite you to come along with me on my journey through the worlds of design, faux and decorative arts techniques.
Here are some of my inspirations:

Hello
I LOVE your site!
I am 37 yr old paint contractor in Boston Ma and will be purchasing a 1840′s house soon. I love the old walls and limewashed walls on your site , just love them. Could you give me more inspiration if you have resources if you have them!
Any schools that teach just them?
Again thanks for your work!
